Why the fuck is Kushner there
Negotiations between the U.S. and Ukraine today focused on where the de facto border with Russia would be drawn under a peace deal, two Ukrainian officials tell Axios.
Post-war borders dominated "intense" U.S.-Ukraine talks

Why the hell do we insist on calling it an "online prediction market?" It's gambling.
Shayne Coplan dropped out of college his freshman year. When COVID hit, he started building Polymarket, an online prediction market. cbsn.ws/4ooJSGk

For this weekend's PC Gamer column, I went for a walk through Kowloon Walled City

(in Minecraft).

This Minecraft map that recreates one of history's most notorious slums made me reconsider what's important in 3D level design
Kowloon Walled City in Minecraft is a feat of virtual architecture, but it's missing one crucial ingredient.

The billionaires who own much of the the infrastructure of our 21st century lives have progressively enshittified that infrastructure while expanding their wealth, and then they scold us for being small-souled peasants who don’t believe in progress anymore.
it is amazing how so much tech gets unremittingly worse year on year at whatever you once used it for and less pleasant to use and more bound up with creepy politics as well as personal and environmental harms and yet also still less productive of actual goods and these are somehow great visionaries

It now seems he was either duped into being someone’s useful idiot, or party to a “legal” defamation effort

They bleed like everyone else too!

just sayin
That is the lie the billionaires tell you. They can be taxed like everyone else.
The billionaires do not have liquid cash on hand. They own assets and investments. Those assets and investments are responsible for 25-30% of the job market. You wonder why things are expensive? It’s because government is involved.

But what about all of the blue state blue heart Americans who yelled at me in the spring, saying Congress would never approve a war & the military would just disregard those orders, so Canadians were being hysterical.

The below escalation toward Venezuela shows the absolute power of a US president.
Might be kicking off.

Let’s talk about the size of trucks & SUVs in the city. My column on the virtue & status signalling of vehicle bloat.
Shawn Micallef: This truck ad shows why Toronto needs smaller vehicles — if only the carmakers wanted to sell them
A car comically overloaded with plywood? It’s a good ad for a pickup — but also a sign of the incredible amount of money, weight and energy being wasted on
