Yet another example of the lethally negligent infection control policies in hospitals - where killing patients and staff is less important than putting incompetent infection control leaders at risk of having to admit they've been wrong about aerosol transmission for decades.

OH and S standards are different for HCWs and for the life of me (and them) I can't understand why.

This is a wildly unethical study that would be illegal to conduct in the United States. Have you heard of the Tuskegee experiments (crimes against humanity)? This sounds like that.

Igår såg jag en riktig enhörning! En man i andningsskydd (minst FFP2). Kund i matbutik.

Jag blev så överrumplad att jag inte kom mig för att gå fram & hälsa. Eller åtminstone söka ögonkontakt & ge tummen upp.

Jag kan nämligen inte minnas när jag senast såg någon i matbutik, med andningsskydd.

I am convinced in the future we will look back and realise the sheer unimaginable folly of letting a virus that can cause immune dysregulation and cognitive dysfunction in humans infect and re-infect the global population over and over again. Worse still, that we encouraged it.

Yet another unsafe winter for vulnerable people, as prevention is not a thing that the public health authority thinks it needs to be done.
Better let health care staff get overburdened yet again, rather than do some prevention. You know, tests, stay at home when sick, wear a mask in health care.

Your argument that cases are low loses all credibility when you aren't counting or reporting them.
Health units technical notes regarding data:

"Covid-19 cases are no longer being collected and reported after June 1, 2024, as a result of provincial decision." 🤷‍♂️
