I know it annoys my sister, but I appreciate that my dad is like you can come over no earlier than 2 pm and no later than 3 pm and you need to leave by 6:30 pm.

We're gonna need a truth and reconciliation commission and Nuremberg style trials to reckon with all of this evil, and any Dem candidate for office who shies away from a full reckoning in the name of "moving forward as a nation" can get well and truly fucked

Two people who had not seen the DHS version but are close to members of the council who did said the new draft removes any mention of mitigation programs and slashes preparedness dollars for local emergency management agencies.

Finished The Old Kingdom while Lirael was definitely my favorite book; the prequel, Terciel and Elinor, was very silly and fun for such tragic characters.

I have long posited that Daniel Craig's accent in Glass Onion is better than Knives Out because in Knives Out he is trying to do a real Southern accent and is bad at it but in Glass Onion he is just talking like Foghorn Leghorn, which is something a real gay Southern weirdo would do.

The destruction of the federal government disproportionately affects black women. The federal civil service has long been a good career option because of the strong equal opportunity enforced in the civil service that has historically blunted the double discrimination that black women face.
Since February, according to my latest analysis, almost 600,000 Black women have been economically sidelined. The November 20, 2025, Jobs Report makes clear this isn’t a blip. It’s a structural crisis. That is not a recovery. It is a redistribution of opportunity.

Elon Musk donated $277 million to Trump so he could steal the federal government’s data, dismantle the nation’s infrastructure, and stop foreign aid from going to nonwhite people. It’s a quid pro quo breathtaking in scope, corruption, and damage, & completely unprecedented in American history.
Bye bye, “DOGE”.

It no longer exists as a “centralized entity”, according to the Office of Personnel Management.

It’s so hard to get my family to respect that I don’t want things when they live across the country. I know it’s easier for them to just have something shipped to my apartment but 90% of the time I will just donate it.
