Two lovely reviews for Storyteller just showed up! I'll be on the Tanith Lee panel at the World Fantasy Convention later this month. If you haven't picked up a copy yet, you can find it at all the usual places, including tanithleestoryteller.com

“Storyteller: A Tanith Lee Tribute Anthology is a lovely tribute, indeed. From the first tale to the last, a deep love and admiration for Lee’s life and work shines through in each authors’ interpretation of her distinctive style and voice. These sixteen stories capture the spirit of Tanith Lee’s fiction with their elaborate world-building, complicated consequences, and wild magic everywhere.

It is a wonder to see how unique and yet how familiar this anthology feels.”--Nerdgoblin.com “Storyteller: A Tanith Lee Tribute Anthology is a lovely tribute, indeed. I got to say, the last quarter of the year looks pretty good for entertainment. I'm off to World Fantasy Con at the end of October, I have a ticket to a Recirquel show in November, and I have 2 concert tickets for December for two of my favorite Hungarian bands. One is for a new album too!

As promised, I have read all the novels short-listed for the 2025 World Fantasy Awards. The awards will be announced at the World Fantasy Convention, held this year in Brighton UK on Oct. 30-Nov. 2, 2025. If I only had the time, I'd read all the other nominated works, but I don't. So I'll do what I love most, read novels and talk about them.

I’m very proud to be taking part in this panel at the upcoming World Fantasy Con in Brighton. I’ll also be reading live on the Friday evening. It’s a stacked weekend programme with some unreal guests, including Ramsey Campbell, Joe Hill and Suniti Namjoshi. A massive privilege to be part of this.

It is currently Black History Month in the United Kingdom. Britain’s past as an empire and slave trader meant that many people of colour came to Brighton, but the earliest we know of were free professionals who made lives for themselves as important members of Brighton Society.
