Honestly struggling to accept that we've ended up in a situation where it's no longer affordable for everyday people to send each other Christmas cards (or even just a basic letter) in the post.

Had a dream that a woman on a train got scared by a spider so the government passed a law that everyone had to remain seated on trains and all times and it seems way too plausible right now.

Dealing with some Kafka-level nonsense trying to repair a cable in my hallway. Too convoluted to explain, but the result so far is that we now have another cable hanging across our bedroom window and our provider no longer has the right to touch the hallway cable.
