And the slow, unglamorous discipline of showing up for myself again and again.

The truth is, ‘nature cure’ isn’t applied evenly. It’s disproportionately placed onto women’s efforts, insight, and recovery.

What changed my life was hard work, tough decisions, and medication. Years of therapy. Painful realisations and reckonings. Sobriety. Unpicking the conditioning I’d inherited around parenting, and then doing better. Bupropion. Methylphenidate.

Recently at a Q&A, the chair asked me an excellent question: Why do you push so hard against the idea of a ‘nature cure’ when moments in your book Drystone - A Life Rebuilt might look like exactly that?

The answer is simple.

Grateful as with every year that Emily takes the time to do this, and I'm as excited seeing my books in here as for all the books I'm eager to read 🤩

I have a third release next year that isn't in here yet. Hopefully it will be announced early 2026 so I can finally talk about it, but: 🐰🛸🪞🥵🔪

The original short film is just seven minutes long and is perfectly unnerving.

I'm not sure how you adapt this into a feature film. But no matter what, the great original will be there. Worth a watch!

I'll need to replace a lot of devices soon. The first company who's able to offer me genAI-free tech and software is going to get all of my money.
If someone could offer us a guaranteed AI-free version of the internet, they would become a trillionaire so fast.

Added to this, if you're a trans inclusive group wanting to do green woodworking or forest bathing or permaculture or naked drum circles (look, i work in a hippie field, sorry) or what-fucking-ever, you come to us and we will keep you safe. Promise.
Just to say, apropos of nothing, we don't allow trans-exclusive groups to set up at Nantymeillion to do things (things being wild women camps or womens drumming workshops). This has come up in the past. If your "feminist" group excludes trans women you can go somewhere else. We don't want you.
