Americans vastly underestimate the amount of wealth under their noses. A WA capital gains tax that was projected to bring in 300 million brought in nearly 3x that in its first year.

The best time to tax the wealthy was decades ago. The second best time is now.

Fun fact: at some point several people’s names were patched OUT of Destiny 2’s credits. People who worked on that game and were credited accordingly, were, for some reason, subsequently removed.

Video game credits are atrocious.

I think smaller teams make better games. I think happy people make better games.

I think every studio should be thinking of the team as their #1 product and strength, and the games are the OUTPUT of that team.

People should be trained, given opportunities, given reasons to WANT to be there

Food for thought... There's a lot of talk about speeding up game development, given how many recent games took 5-7 years to make. But many of those were hampered by the switch from Unreal 4 to 5. And ALL of them lost months to covid. Perhaps one way to make games faster is to not have a pandemic
