lets say a wizard has cursed you with a lot of money. you are going to become permanently brain damaged simply by being in possession of so much money. the only way out of it is to spend a lot of money on something ridiculous and not at all useful
Tonight on HEART: The delvers discover a proto-potential anomaly. One tries to destroy it at the same moment another offers prayer and the former ends up becomes the living embodiment of the latter's made-up deity. I decided to see who rolled higher to have the result they wanted. Both rolled 8s.
I am patient and also like to give money to people I'd like to see keep doing what they do- including the post office. But I wonder how others would take this- gamers (as a cohort) are not known for their patience, grace, understanding, or empathy. Maybe there's a difference with crowdfunders.
I think, perhaps, we need better solutions with crowdfunding. There are certain items I could pick up today at my game store while I wait for my copies to be delivered, which I'm also getting dinged on shipping for. Obvy, stores _should_ get theirs first- they ordered a bunch of copies vs. my one. /
Vice Academy Part 2- Head canon is Linnea Quigley just wandered on to set hungover and was all just "sure whatever I'll be in your movie" and I used to have ladies in my life with her kind of energy and it is now poorer for their absence.
And the performances are... not good, but intentionally bad? It seems like quite a bit of thought went into making something so stupid, and that is kinda my jam. Jayne Hamil enough of a caricature standout that I may need to watch the sequels now as it looks like these are just about all she's done.
Vice Academy- Wretched. Awful. Jiggly. But here's the thing- my judgment of film has become "did the director achieve what they intended?" and there is something to be said for Sloane bringing his scuzzy visions to life. And seriously, how many films have Chekov's Boobs?
