Here’s the problem with society:

Scroll mark 1: A serious event that should be sustained & absorbed, empathically altering society.

Scroll mark 2: The next event swiftly occupies our attention, pushing 1 into yesterday’s feed.

He would spend a season with the team before being promoted to the Brooklyn Dodgers on his way to the Hall of Fame.

On this day in 1964, Butternut Square debuted on CBC. Starring Ernie Coombs, it was on this show he developed the character of Mr. Dressup. Judith Lawrence also debuted Casey and Finnegan on the show. Butternut Square ran until 1967 when it was replaced with Mr. Dressup.

People believe when you become disabled, support magically appears

Many of them think assistance is provided based on how sick you are

It doesn’t work like that

There’s very little support available. You don’t get more when you have a setback… you’re on your own

Folks are very quick to say they don’t want their taxes to support disabled people.

They assume we’re fakes.

That we could work if we “really wanted to”.

The system is punishing as heck. It is very hard to qualify for support.

It’s dehumanizing. It can take years. No one is doing this for fun.

Everytime I read something like this, I see a small child stomping their feet and shaking their fists, throwing a tantrum, "Canadians are being so mean to us!" - and it's hilarious.

So, the boycott is working, and doing exactly what it's meant to.

Yes your taxes should support disabled people.

They should support homeless people.

They should support those living in poverty, children and the elderly.

This is literally the purpose of taxes, and I would far rather support those who need it than continue to enrich the elite.
