Turn out was really bad at No Kings 1 in my area. Didn't help that another protest for Free Palestine was near the same area which had a much higher turn out.

I'm 5'2, I was under 5 ft for most of my life. The first time I had a police officer put a flashlight/gun in my face I was 8/9. I was in the backseat of a car, pulled over with my uncle and aunt (white). They were worried about her 'safety, ' and demanded i provide ID. I was a child.

So a couple people have now hinted at the idea that Black people didn’t have it so bad post-9/11 because Muslims had it bad. This ignores that there were and are a lot of Black Muslims.
