Ok wow, welcome everyone! I'm a feral nerd who adores Star Wars and Final Fantasy XIV. I cosplay as my own SW OC, a Pantoran Jedi named Sabé-ren Tiel. I'm a huge simp for Crosshair from SW, and Emet-Selch from FFXIV. I have many more interests, too, but those two are like.. 90% of my personality.

I don't know, I think it's justified to be genuinely upset that a film with a cool concept, a great leading man, a great screenwriter, and a great director attached isn't getting made.

Especially when that movie gets vetoed but we're giving the writer of the 3 worst X-Men movies an entire trilogy.

It is now 230 days until the primary and 377 days until the general.

And it’s not like the campaign has already been going for a long time. Platner just announced 293 days before the primary and 440 days before the general election.

Primaries are there for a reason. I'm not interested in "vote Blue no matter who" especially as its given us people like Fetterman. Push to make Democratic candidates better or replace them.

And with that, I think its time to drop Platner.

This is the thing that the “innocent mistake” folks aren’t accounting for—Platner did not accidentally choose the one Nazi tattoo hiding on a wall full of cute unicorns and “Mom” hearts. That’s not how any of this works.

Not particularly. The guy is obviously dubious for getting a tattoo of that kind, whether he knew about Nazi symbolism or not. But these SS symbols on uniform caps aren’t that distinctive like swastikas that most people would know about them. But if he’s worth stopping don’t let me spoil your fun!

I do some of the largest scale mutual aid work on the planet. You absolutely cannot mutual aid your way out of state capacity.

You can reduce some of the short-term harm via mutual aid. But that's a stop-gap measure, and here's why.🧵

If every food bank in the us got their annual revenue already, saved 100% of it, and no overhead besides food they might be able to provide 2 months

In Reddit posts from 2013, Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner asked why Black people "don't tip" and suggested people concerned about being raped shouldn't be inebriated around people they don't feel comfortable with.

Those posts, first reported on by the Bangor Daily News, add to previous coverage from CNN and Politico published Thursday about Platner's writings on the social media site about his ideology and political violence. The BDN obtained more posts made under Platner's handle, "P-Hustle," through an online database. He posted on the social media site more than 1,800 times between 2009 and 2021.
