The funny thing is that if Bishop becomes PM, how many grudges will he have with his older colleagues.

First out the door will be Judith Collins

Certainly appears that the (Paul Henry) 1News Verian poll was definitely an outlier compared to all other polls over the last 2years…including this latest one🤷‍♀️ #OneTermGovernment #ResignNicola #nzpol #Luxon #Aotearoa #NewZealand

Even saying "two executives" appears to be generous. It's 1.32FTE so it's one executive (King) and a part-timer doing about 1.5 days a week.
watershitdown.bsky.social
This stinks more than a soggy gumboot , King's execs get 527k which is what some other charities run on per year if they haven't been cut altogether by this cretinus gov..

you'd think the minister for "regulation" would consider the simple truth that all safety laws are written in blood, but chances are he simply doesn't care who he systematically murders #nzpol

And nobody on planet earth is surprised. War criminals don’t care for peace plans, they care about their genocide plans & theft of Palestinian land and resources. Pure evil imho. #NetanyahuWarCriminal #Geopolitics #nzpol

So far TODAY Israel has:

- bombed Gaza City
- bombed Khan Younis
- shot and killed five Palestinians in Gaza City
- refused to open the Rafah border crossing
- announced they would once more block aid

This is what a "ceasefire" with Israel looks like. This is what it has always looked like.

This is really great. Honestly expected it to be a bit cringe, but it is quite special.

Especially when they won't even let him practice without finishing the chant.

For non-AoNZers, you can absolutely try this on any Kiwis you know.
netchicken1.bsky.social
Now this is cool.

Overseas comedian making a joke about Kiwis not having a chant.

Then someone in the audience sings out Tūtira Mai Ngā Iwi and the whole audience shouts Hi aue hei in response.

So the comedian tries to learn it.

Good vibes, real kiwis.

I'm not a comms person or a politician, just an outside observer, but this seems to me to be a matter of urgency for Labour.
The intensity of this kind of questioning is only going to ramp up, so Labour politicians need to plan ways to fend off the right wing framing and shift the narrative.
#nzpol
nzjanette.bsky.social
And he doesn't have to accept right wing framing and narratives about the Greens and TPM. They should have strategies in place to fend off this kind of bullshit without buying into it.

Barry sums up this shitty, over priced housing market , perfectly.

Endlessly selling our houses to each other for ever increasing amounts of mortgage debt. The only ones getting rich from this are the banks. It’s impoverishing New Zealanders. Even the ones with fat bank accounts from lucky timing have to live in our broken country.

I make no comment about the BSA's jurisdiction vis a vis streaming video and audio except to note that the general principle they are relying on to say "the meaning of "broadcasting" can change over time" is completely orthodox & recognised in the Legislation Act.

This is the 'ambulatory aporoach'.
S 11 of the Legislation Act: Legislation applies to circumstances as they arise.
