The Chris Carter-written episodes are *so* bad on the whole. I think he must have been a more than competent showrunner and spotter of talent, but sheesh.

Duchovny was bearable on weekly cycles, but more annoying on binge. Gillian Anderson is obvious wonderful.

Yes, that's a whole other thing. Losing the better-off whingers is a dangerous pattern. One question is do they go Left or further Right? I think this one will go Labour for the optics, and this is yet another reason why Hipkins' RW bolthole look is no good for me.

About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages
