It is futile to quote the law at foxes armed with sharp teeth. Cisgender, but in a “malicious compliance” kind of way. Also, fuck the Packers.

I bought bread today without realizing we already have bread. Oh well, you can never have too much bread. :)

Me, suing by boss for making the workplace seem like a Montessori classroom: Yeah your honor it was a real nightmare, they kept doing activities that respected my agency, and only giving me responsibilities that I was developmentally prepared to handle.
when it comes to "feminization" I'm personally more worried that the average conservative man now thinks that having sex with a woman is gay

it was always stupid but conservative guys still pretending they're all John Wayne characters now that they can't walk down a city block without having a panic attack is really just something

We’re gonna get to the point real soon where posting “don’t do anything that could get you arrested” will get you arrested.

This is an old take but it’s worth bringing back.

Freud gets panned because he writes as if everyone is a secret incestuous pedophile. Which is ridiculous right?

Except remember that his clients were all rich white people.

a lot of activist security advice has been flattened so you get "don't bring phones to protests, don't film at protests" still, while video from phones has been the only things keeping stuff from escalating to lethal force in some of those situations.

people are cargo-culting things again
I promise, if you get arrested for saying how many people are working on a state senate campaign we have much bigger problems to worry about than your recordings

1) This is good information on how to address the situation of a senior falling. It’s important to know these things.

2) They could not let him fall because he may have rolled onto his back, and as we all know that is essentially a death sentence for turtles.
Just so folks know- they didn’t handle that fall by Mitch McConnell well. When seniors or frail people fall, the best thing to do is actually let them lay where they are. Some people recommend counting to a certain number. While the person lays there-

Whenever Democrats are tempted to pull out the old “spirited disagreements but we’re all Americans” bromide, they need to remember this first.

surely we can beat the fascists if we all just do a gay little dance that pisses them off

Yes I can enlighten you. When the Democrats do it, they do it quietly and don't brag about it. This kind of killing of Black & brown people is preferred over the loud and proud style of Trump. If it happens quietly, liberals and Democrats can pretend it's not happening & carefree enjoy brunch.
I’m as appalled as the next person by Trump’s admin randomly bombing boats in international waters without oversight and accountability.

I nevertheless fail to see the difference between this and Obama’s drone campaigns.

Can someone enlighten me?

Obama’s covert drone war in numbers: ten times more strikes than Bush
The use of drones aligned with Obama’s ambition to keep up the war against al Qaeda while extricating the US military from intractable ground wars, but…

Can anyone point to a single material gain achieved by these protests?

I have a lot of issues with the Matrix franchise, but one thing they did get right: Everyone who is dependent on the system is, in practical terms, an enemy until they are broken free of their dependence.
Company that has an HR department, but HR stands for Heavy Rock, which they hit you in the head with.
Sorry, but the rent has to go up because of the rent fairy and the waxing moon and some bad copper ingots and you didn’t leave enough dirt under your pillow for the dirt man.
I’m pretty sure the price hikes Americans are experiencing because of tariffs would have happened anyway and been blamed on inflation or strikes or supply chain issues or some other made-up excuse.

I don't eat animal protein but I'll never call my diet 'cruelty free' because the people growing and harvesting the fruits and vegetables I eat work in conditions like this.

Cruelty to humans matters, too.
