LEGALLY YOU SHOULD BE SENDING INVOICES FOR GOODS AND SERVICES. IF YOU TAKE COMMISSIONS ON PAYPAL DO NOT USE FRIENDS AND FAMILY. YOU ARE NOT SAFE, YOUR CLIENT IS NOT SAFE.

THIS IS A FORM OF TAX EVASION.

YOU SHOULD BE USING INVOICES.
Paypal is now playing harder ball on artists, going after anyone even mentioning commissions.

Artists, send invoices. That way, no one has to say what the money is for on Paypal's paper trail.

Customers, SAY NOTHING about commissions. Just say "thanks" on donos.

Everyone: INCREASE THE CALLS.
Sharing a helpful link, has other numbers and call scripts to use.

You're going to need it if you ever need an oophorectomy (ovary removal) or have your ovaries removed along with a hysterectomy. You have no idea what going through instant menopause is going to do to you. You think you have flashes now? Oooboy.
I have some bad news for all you cis women voting and working to ban HRT. You are going to NEED that shit when you hit peri/menopause. All of our struggles for bodily autonomy against a fascist cisheteropatriarchy are connected.

you get actors like Alec Guinness despising their genre work, or like Jeremy Brett being massively screwed up by it, and then you get Christopher Lee calling his cat Renfield.
Christopher Lee with his cat, Renfield.

the bastards are trying to take even the simple joy of cat videos away from us
The “viral photos and videos of animals acting cute or interesting with people or each other” industry has been destroyed by AI. The last few examples I’ve seen of this have been AI. I have a feeling slop will further derail a pop culture understanding of animal biology and behavior

Basically, I'm 100% against Nazis, Nazism, Nazi symbols, and the ideas of Adolf Hitler

And I'm old enough to remember when that stance was so widespread in American politics and culture that it was considered boring to even say

A hill I often die on when lettering comics is what I call "unexpected reading order," where, because of the action on a comics page, the reading order isn't a straightforward left-right-top-bottom (prose editors struggle with this a lot). Sam Rosen does it perfectly on this Spider-Man splash.

I honestly believe that opposition to Me Too—or even willingness to mock it—is an indicator of personal moral rot and nascent conservatism. So far this has a 100% predictive accuracy.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

the INVISIBLE MAN is imho probably the best of the OG universal horror films. it is delightfully unhinged and the invisibility effect is still astonishing all of these years later
got a hankering to watch one of the best movies ever made

I always wondered why France had so many heists but if you can still just put a ladder up to a window on the Louvre in the year 2025 and get away with a big bag full of priceless jewels I guess that solves the mystery

people playing music/videos on their phone speakers in public is more than just mildly annoying and is instead a leading indicator of the decline of community and empath

ATTENTION PARENTS: is your child texting about stealing from the Louvre? know the signs:

RTFM: robbing the famous museum
LMAO: looting my ass off
LSTCDTS: let's see Tom Cruise do this shit
MLM: Mona Lisa's mine

One of my least rational beliefs is that if you pull off a heist without hurting anyone or getting caught within a day, that's your stuff fair and square.

Shoutout to whoever was like the news sucks, let’s spice it up by doing a jewel heist at the Louvre
