I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.

I have seen a lot going around about Amazon removing affiliate links to adult and/or queer material and it is DEFINITELY happening, but most of the posts I've seen describing who it is happening to are overly sweeping and/or incorrect, which is not helping.

I think too many folks have forgotten that tech is supposed to be in service to us. It's not the inverse, there's no obligation to be in allegiance to tech that doesn't improve our lives
