A few years ago in a post-pandemic travel splurge, we went to Germany & we were at a beautiful lake in Bavaria, I was just about to wade into it barefoot with my pants legs rolled up, and my son pointed out leeches on the rocks in the water. 😬

I can give you directions to that lake...
