Anyway, in the comic, that early stuff with Biggs on Tattooine is there. Not sure if it lines up with the filmed scenes though. I'll have to watch that and dig up the comics, I think I still have them somewheres

I always thought Tattooine had Twin Moons just like it had Twin Suns (or Binary Suns, as they're also called in a system that has two suns. Same would go for moons, I believe), but three moons? That's even more beautiful of a view than looking at just two. What a view that is. ✨️✨️✨️

The Phantom Menace game had some really cool Tattooine map, and Jedi Power Battles probably had the first instance of playable Plo Koon, Ki Adi Mundi and Adi Galia

I always thought it was cool that Qui Gon managed to look good in basically a giant blanket on Tattooine. He seems to be pretty natural in it too, like it kinda seems like something he wears all the time.

ill tell you what -- narratively, the stuff with Luke Skywalker seeing the battle over Tattooine, and going to meet up with Biggs, is not a good way to open a movie, I agree, but it also makes him into a much more human, normal sort of dude, and makes his journey more tangible

Sometimes I sit there and think about how, in A New Hope, Luke's big plan for getting off Tattooine was joining the imperial flight academy and how I never see anyone really talking about this. A real Banality of Evil moment.
