ITV variations

As alluded to yesterday

ATV Midlands, naturally as producer/broadcaster are one week ahead of LWT with their premiere of the Joe 90 series

Produced 2nd, aired 4th

An “interesting” episode..

Joe blows a network of international gunrunners to kingdom come by lobbing hand grenades..

The more I dig, the more I find sitcoms which were never broadcast in Scotland. Google AI says Outside Edge was a BBC production and was shown, but that doesn't make any sense as it was actually made by Central TV and shown on ITV.

There was a 1982 original one-off, made by LWT.

Google AI is pish

5.30 Joe 90

The first series where Gerry doesn’t even get Executive Producer credit.

17th in production but 3rd to air.

LWT are running a week behind ATV and Tyne Tees. Southern and Anglia share the feed.

Derek & Co on top form with gorgeous model alpine sets shot for day & night scenes.

Holy crap that dude was in the awful anti-trans sports movie Daily Wire put out.

How do you go from LWT to that?

The last time I saw someone wearing a suit like this, it was a comedian on @lastweektonight.com who later 1) was a host on the mobile game show HQ and 2) pivoted to being a right-wing influencer.

Anyway, LWT should cover this given that their last penis guy, Tyler Fischer, became a grifter.
Well, you can finally cross “I’ve seen a handcuffed, inflatable penis” off your bucket list

LWT on reruns always used likes of the Thunderbirds, Stingray, Tarzan etc as lead in to World of Sport

Or Sunday lunchtime entertainment before, after or during your roast

Tarzan was never regarded as kids tv

It's still fresh but I already have a strong urge to run all 3hrs5m of right back immediately, not that the Little Orc would lwt me.

My primary takeaway is I miss GOOD hardcore fisticuff action movies.

Yes, they did. It's also been 60 years this year since the BBC actually set up their multi-cultural unit whose premise was to produce programmes for ethnic minority communities, but there were very few programmes for the LGBT community, although LWT produced Gay Life back in 1980.

Stanley Baxter did a brilliant send up of Upstairs Downstairs, playing Hudson, Mrs. Bridges AND Rose, and filmed on the Upstairs Downstairs set at LWT!

Incidentally, Stanley Baxter went to the same school as Gordon Jackson! Hillhead High School in Glasgow. youtu.be/aLq1aTTZ-FY?...
