Your worst nightmare. The illegitimate love child of Holden Caulfield and Don Quixote. That guy who adds stuff to TVARK.

I wonder if it's anything like 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, which Charlie Brooker summed up best. youtu.be/EVIzJDwNvmg?...

I haven't seen that in years, all I know is that the makers took a lot of liberties with what REALLY happened. Oh, and Paul O'Grady has a blink and you'll miss it cameo.
That's so funny because it's true!

Mind you, I haven't been to a hairdressers since 2020, me and my Dad do one another's hair with clippers we got during lockdown.
By the second or third series, London Weekend and Southern wouldn't show it in the 9.45 Saturday slot, thinking they could do better, and bumping the Wheeltappers to around midnight on Saturday.
I think the change in format from one 45 minute show with different acts to one half hour show with one act one was maybe a hint the show was on it's way out.

By then it had become uncoupled from its Saturday night slot and started drifting through the schedules, usually on Thursdays or Fridays.
Can we get these for @ashens.bsky.social?
I regret to inform you that Christmas is occurring at Lidl.
Have you invited our Matthew to join your discord?
Even if it was human error, the late, great Denis Norden once said, "there's nothing in life that's so simple that someone somewhere can't get wrong."
You have to wonder if the BBC have resorted to AI for a gaffe of this magnitude. 🤔
Good going BBC News. 🤦‍♂️
Hey! The Daily Star and The Sun stole your pun!
It's a wonder Charles and William didn't call in someone to finish Andrew off and "make it look like an accident." I mean, the Royals have got form when it comes to killing their own. youtu.be/NHEpvS5O_e4?...
Full Movie. Unlawful Killing is a 2011 documentary by Keith Allen about Princess Diana's death.

Here's a perfect pairing that happened at Elstree Studios in December 1970! Frankie Howerd and Vincent Price met up during one lunch break! Howerd was on one stage doing Up Pompeii, Price was on another doing The Abominable Dr. Phibes! 😃
Charles was probably one step away from doing to Andrew what Michael Corleone did to Fredo. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cv...
Crossroads wasn't THAT bad for little mistakes, Acorn Antiques pays a bigger debt of gratitude to Take The High Road, now THAT was filled with flubbed lines, long pauses and wobbly sets. As you know, Scottish definitely didn't have the money ATV had.
Stanley Baxter did a brilliant send up of Upstairs Downstairs, playing Hudson, Mrs. Bridges AND Rose, and filmed on the Upstairs Downstairs set at LWT!

Incidentally, Stanley Baxter went to the same school as Gordon Jackson! Hillhead High School in Glasgow. youtu.be/aLq1aTTZ-FY?...

Me and my Dad watched the entire series on Talking Pictures TV a few years ago. The best character is Hudson, showcasing what a brilliant actor Gordon Jackson was. 😃 youtu.be/tccTtd8tGU0?...

Maybe preferable to the one we got. How the hell Hughie Green had a career in television for so long is a complete mystery, especially as he went more insanely right-wing on air too.
I'll take That's My Dog and The Cut Price Comedy Show over most modern stuff anyday!
From what I gather, if these nostalgia channels want a specific programme, ITV plc and Fremantle have been known to lump in other stuff as a package deal, usually recent rubbish but not always.
@flemishdog.bsky.social Here's more info on Alpha. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha_T...

Oh and ATV's massive complex in Birmingham wasn't ready until 1970. 🙄
Alpha Television - Wikipedia
en.wikipedia.org
In Birmingham between 1956 and 1968, ATV and ABC co-owned their own studio space, which they called Alpha. When ATV went 7 days a week in the Midlands from July 68 onwards, they built that massive complex in Birmingham to replace Alpha and also for colour broadcasting.
This reminds me of a redeem I've seen on your streams. 😛
