So there are ~2,100 National Guard forces deployed to DC, including District-specific guard and other states. Hegseth said he's ordering 500 more to join (despite a district judge last week calling the deployment illegal). How many cops will be tasked with guarding the patrols?
The National Guard now needs security detail. Maybe send them home instead?

For folks not familiar with D.C., here’s how close it was. This area is sort of office building central, in an area packed with professionals. It’s also within a block of two separate Metro stops.

Slop Evader is a tool from artist and researcher Tega Brain that lets you search the web for results exclusively before November 30, 2022—the day that ChatGPT was released to the public.
So using Affinity & Wine for some actual work, and have noticed a few things:
- Performance starts struggling (at least on my laptop with an Intel dGPU) when you throw some big files at that
- Installing OpenCL is a fix, but I found it unstable when I set that up.
