Green tea is a bit finicky, so I don't often make it because I have a tendency to forget I've got tea steeping.
This is a ceylon green that does admirably in the gaiwan, despite the fact it's a broken leaf grade. It's got a really lovely citrus scent that comes through with a bit of umami in the cup

here it is, 5 hrs later, the best chili ever! Hint of sweet, hint of heat, hint of salt, hint of acid, lots of depth & flavor, lots of umami. It’s so good. Having a chili cook off next month versus a colleague. I’ll use short ribs like in the recipe. And I’ll walk away a world champion

(Editorial). I’ve made this a few times. This is 1st time I actually used anchovy paste & ground coffee. It really does add umami from the paste & subtle flavor from coffee. But next time I am NOT using dry beans. I’m gonna used canned pinto beans cuz these beans take forever

i lied i relapsed and played 2 rotations of vsword and entered flow state once and hit 0 clips i love and hate this gun it is impossible to do well without playing consistently but i have no time yet i enjoy this gun more than anything else and its not even close (it was also sz umami mahi i had to)
i think small blaster is my calling . unlike stamper i dont want to ink my ceiling when i whiff a kill (cos its so much easier to not) . i think it might be over for my sword </3

i still don't understand "umami". like is it just "japanese word cool"? english has had a word to describe this flavor for centuries, it's called "savory"

Eller så gör du en bra grönsaksbuljong, med bla svamp och försökte lyfta smaken med lite asiatisk umami, kanske miso, kanske alger.

1. There’s no need to refrigerate fish sauce.

2. There’s no way a bottle should last more than a few months before its used up. Use more, It’s liquid umami.

3. If it’s not used up in a few months it will literally last decades if not centuries.
