I think it does, but it’s angry. My mobility is angry to get out. But it’s not happened yet. I do a certain amount of physical therapy. I did a whole bunch of it at Cedars-Sinai, and I got very close, I think, to walking. That was tantalizing. For insurance reasons, I had to withdraw. And I have a visiting physical therapist now, but I can only really do exercises from my bed, which is pretty pathetic. It’s not going to get me walking, I don’t believe.

I also maybe for Halloween need to dress up but not as a frog because I ALWAYS dress up as something I can tolerate actually turning in to because What If that Buffy Season 2 Episode actually happened and I can't do nonmammals (except some birds and cryptids.)

Yes it could be argued that keeping up with world events is important but alternatively can I interest you in hugging an ancient mossy boulder that looks like a face and quietly listening while it tells you stories from centuries cloaked in mist.

A lovely mossy boulder with a face. I walked past this venerable stone gentleman on Dartmoor when I was beginning to write my first novel, Villager, and it whispered all 104,000 words of the book to me. So now I have to pay it all of my royalties. Unfortunately my ex-publisher stopped paying me royalties last year. Understandable, the boulder was not happy. But now I have a new publisher and the book is being republished this Thursday. So remember if you purchase a copy you will be helping a boulder to eat, pay the rent on his riverside moss garden, and feed his boulder family.

Tooling around on a Sunday afternoon. Just went to a Spirit of Halloween. And I can't tell my spouse it was where my dead kid had his 8th grade school grad party. I sat in the parking lot waiting for him while he Bopper inside, so happy after yrs of probs + more to come bc of his neurodivergence.

Was Nancy a lovely person? Prob not. A junkie? Yes. Was she as flatly dimensional as oft portrayed? Hardly likely. Deeper dives into her past show friends & a strong intellect. She had ambition; she ended up managing Sid. She was, as many were & still are, abused & let down by patriarchal system.

You are welcome. There's a comfort in being acknowledged. Also I already knew what hiraeth meant (Welsh, it's kinda more than you can't go home again because maybe it's not there anymore or maybe never was.) Poor explanation but I've been in the neighborhood myself.
