I did 1.5M in 13:30 a month or so ago (it's a standard trial for approximating VO2 max), though I probably cannot deadlift more than 150#. Of such trade-offs is life made.

Lots of disses on ICE fitness levels. I suspect far fewer Americans can pass the tests than commenters imagine.

Many of the CrossFit guys I workout with are big/strong and not so fast at bodyweight movements — but have 2-3x my deadlift. They don’t love running the mile either.

I've been sick for a couple of days but I decided to go train.. enough is enough.On my way to the gym, I thought I won't be doing deadlifts..once I warmed up, I found myself preparing the barbell and setting up my deadlift weight..did it cuz apparently my body knows better🙃

Stupidly excited because my new deadlift belt arrives today.
Husband kept nicking mine, so I gave in and ordered a new one for me. I'm using the excuse that I'm the athlete in the family (but also I've been on the last hole of the belt for ages, so can go for something a bit smaller).
