Alice’s Restaurant is about a boomer who litters, gets caught by the local cop who cares about the environment, then proceeds to write a song roasting said cop and the whole justice system. Justice is blind.

If you built it, they will come.
Riders going over the Pulaski have basically doubled since the pandemic, proof that if you build it (McGuinness, 11th) they will come.

A minute & a half of busy cycling and I can’t see a single rider wearing a helmet. This is what good cycling infrastructure looks like where cyclists aren’t in fear of having to share space with cars.

Of course people can wear helmets if they chose, but these cyclists all feel safe without.
Rush hour traffic in Utrecht.

Sound on 🔊 if you want to experience that rush hour IS possible without the constant, deafening noise of cars overpowering people talking.

Any political “leader” still selling the obviously false choice between #ClimateAction and “the economy” is just reminding us that they clearly don’t understand either the climate crisis OR the economy.

Or they’re cynically hope that WE don’t understand the difference.

Or both.
