speaking as a teacher, I hate this and will never do it. Why? because it still centres the tech. Also, students may take the wrong lesson away bc they got a superficially passable paper. I didn't invite ChatGPT into my class. Educators, not degenerate freaks like Sam Altman, decide what we teach

Okay, but this still expends time on AI, even if it’s being “critiqued”, at the cost of teaching your actual subject matter. And any time spent on AI is a sales pitch for AI; there’s no such thing as bad publicity.

I wish people would talk about consent less in essentializing and pseudo-scientific language about brains not being developed yet, and more in terms of power imbalances. But I guess if people did, they would have to notice power imbalances that aren't based on age, too.
