Once driving my kids to preschool I said "shit!" after a car pulled out in front of me and I slammed my brakes. Out of the backseat my then ~2-yo youngest daughter, still in her verbal accumulation stage, responded "shit!" and I realized I should probably watch how I speak around them

The thing about the scouts is that it teaches a kid how to attain useful life skills, become a measured and patient adult and to always try to be the best version of oneself. It teaches boys how to become good men. Of course, petty, venal weak men don't like it.
