Apparently James Cameron is gonna open Avatar 3 with a disclaimer that no AI was used in the film. But considering how much he's supported it and used it for 4K restorations, this gives off the same vibe as a guy covered in blood and holding a gun insisting he didn't just kill a guy XD

There are no good guys here. What he says about Netflix is true, but the Paramount guy is Trump's best buddy who would wreck tv and movie infrastructure. Cameron is also a scumbag who is buddy-buddy with Elon Musk and loooooves AI.

Finally people have the bravery to say this. No movie looks more like a Frankenstein's monster assembled out of cut up parts by studio meddling, and it completely ruins the "Dirty Dozen" thing they're transparently trying to achieve. Great ending, *bad* movie.
rogue one is bad folks. i have believed this since i saw it in theaters and no subsequent rewatch has changed my mind. basically a chop job until the final sequence, which is good (for star wars)

Some guy randomly found the original handwritten screenplay for Ann Hui's Boat People. Writer Chiu Kang-chien's original Chinese title was literally 'Boat People', but this was changed to 'Seeking Refuge to the Angry Sea' at the suggestion of wuxia novelist Jin Yong.
