I still can’t believe we got a new De La Soul album out of the blue but I’m so happy we did because it’s incredible and might be their best work since Stakes Is High. A beautiful tribute to Dave whose presence is still felt all over but also just a classic De La concept album about loss and life.

This sums up my increasing frustration with @libdems.org.uk that I am a member of. The party is failing to be boldly liberal in making ideological and moral arguments and are often or not missing the mark. We need to be tacking the matter of refugee status with a pro-immigration, open and welcoming
This is a disappointing response to Labour's vile policy of making refugee status temporary, which would lead to mass deportations of families and communities that had built a new life here.
The Lib Dems must forcefully oppose Labour's doomed attempts to appease the far right.
