I feel in a way Machado is to Venezuela what Ahmed Chalabi was to Iraq: a neoliberal ghoul seeking to profit (politically and/or monetarily) from a US intervention/invasion at home and the following economic "restructuring", and the liberal media fell for it again despite all the signs.

under Obama a neighbor of mine had her front door kicked in by ICE and got dragged away in front of her infant kids, because a border agent had forgotten to scan her green card when she came back from an overseas vacation a few months prior.

I will not be sharing the video, but it was only a matter of time before these fascist thugs murdered someone in broad daylight in front of witnesses. The absolute minimum consequence needs to be the arrest of those responsible and the complete disbandment of ICE.
