For every big backlog feature released we spend twice as many dev hours cleaning up after it. Everyone is very stressed and we’re unable to backfill empty roles as people leave.
Raise/promotion cycle starts next month but I am not holding my breath for anything meaningful.

I don’t associate my online identity with my employer but I can say from anecdotal experience as a staff-level engineer, our SDLC is moving faster than ever… and a lot of that momentum is all the new defect releases that have to go out.

Sounds like it, and vodka definitely has a stiff peak between "shit" and "decent".

What are your preferences for tequila though? I'm not actually super experienced with them, other than if I'm going to do shots I'd really prefer it to be Patron.

I am not a big fan of grey goose and I think deep eddy is some of the worst vodka you can get, but I haven't had P1.
We have several local distilleries here that make vodka though so I try to go for one of them when I want something smooth. Ciroc would be my preference for an international brand!

As a user affected by the Australian rollout: they're lying about pre-verification. Every Australian Discord user with whom I regularly interact is over 30, but we were still all required to verify
Discord is already starting to walk things back a little, so people should keep doing what they're doing (cancel Nitro, leave feedback/criticism, direct contact through support tickets/phone/email/etc)

we need to make private jet ownership illegal. but as a compromise, I think we can mandate that on every commercial flight one random passenger is picked out of a hat, and the airline and plane crew have to be extra nice and accommodating to them while treating the rest of the passengers even worse.
