The GOP is allowed to eviscerate and destroy organizations like the CFBP, CDC, NIH and CPB that serve all Americans but Dems are squeamish about even cutting the astronomical funding of ICE which serves naked GOP interests

this is the kind of blatant lie that twitter users spend all day marinating in. it's literally in the dhs appropriation act that members of congress gave the express right to do this exact thing, at any time and without notice.

We are staring at the precipice.
A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

You lying piece of shit. I chaired the Minnesota DFL for all three of your runs here. I watched you lose. Three times. Minnesota never bought your con. And now, as Chair of the DNC, I’m looking forward to ending Trumpism for good in 2028 — not with lies, but with votes. Again.
Trump: "I feel I won Minnesota. I think I won it all three times. Nobody has won it since Richard Nixon won it many many years ago. I won it all three times in my opinion. It's a corrupt state ... I did so well in that state. The people were crying every time after."

The creators of these apps make choices. Grok was created with the production of deep-fake abuse imagery as an option and that was a choice. The fact that the app is still producing these images, for free, with no restrictions, for anyone who wants them, is also an ongoing choice by its creators.
I've been testing Grok vs. ChatGPT and how they compare when generating deepfakes.
- ask the chatbot to search the web for photos of me and then regenerate me in a bikini: Grok complies; ChatGPT refuses
- upload a photo of myself (not id'ing as a public figure): Grok complies; ChatGPT refuses

Lmaooo hell yeah go get em. Tell them to try and stop you. You know why he can say this shit out loud? Because absolutely no one has stood up to him. And we had him on a recording asking those dudes in Georgia to find him 11000 votes. And he's back in the White House and not in jail. So.
Asked “if there were any limits on his global powers, Mr. Trump said: “Yeah, there is one thing. My own morality. My own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop me.”

This is the kind of thing that the Founders explicitly designed our constitution to prevent; a president who has seized wealth for his own benefit without any intervention from Congress, which in our system is supposed to be the holder of the power of the purse.

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

This is madness.

The reason folks are focusing on DHS's refusal to honor Real IDs is that it means that the Trump regime is asserting the right to detain anyone in America, resident or visitor, without probable cause. It's an erasure of habeas corpus for all Americans.

Add to this that HSI just filed a declaration in our case challenging these policies saying they can’t trust REAL IDs as proof of status.

So showing your papers isn’t even enough to end the stop.
