Chronic pain is disability. So to everybody out there in pain all the time, you're disabled. I know we keep our chronic pain to ourselves because no one wants to hear about it & do our best to manage. But if it affects your day to day functionality, you're a disabled person.

i think a lot of people who resonate with squall will always find him relatable, or will overall find comfort and understanding in this game. everyone in the cast has that spark of "i get you, you get me, let's be wrecks together" that really just . makes me feel heard and seen??? it's special

I have a friend who said, of Starfleet Academy, that this took them out of it - that seeing a person in a wheelchair in the 32nd century seemed unrealistic, since medicine in Star Trek "should be able to cure whatever was wrong with them."
