Food insecurity is ALWAYS a political choice. Famine is ALWAYS manmade. People go hungry because of other people’s decisions. We have more than enough food for everyone, and enormous amounts of it are wasted—literally thrown in the garbage—on purpose.

Know how we can tell racism is the reason Corporate Democrats are refusing to back Mamdani?

Exhibit A: Last Sept Hochul condemned Trump for cutting taxes on the wealthy.

Exhibit B: Now Hochul condemns Mamdani for raising taxes on the wealthy.

This hypocrisy is why Dems have a 26% approval rating.

In Tommy Tuberville's home state of Alabama, 23% of all personal income comes from transfer payments from the federal government.

Alabama is the tenth most dependent on federal funding, getting $1.80 in spending back for every $1 its citizens pay in taxes.

Tuberville says ‘inner city rats’ live off the American taxpayers: Trump should send them ‘back home’
"These inner city rats, they live on the federal government," Tuberville said in the interview.

the reaction to Mamdani's campaign is clear proof that centrism is a reactionary ideology, and has nothing to do with a pragmatic desire to win.
A party that actually wanted to mobilize young and disillusioned voters would be studying Zohran Mamdani’s campaign like the Bible

There’s an overwhelming number of awful things happening.

My gentle suggestion is to consider attending a protest tomorrow if you can.

In addition to exercising your rights, it can be helpful to be in a sea of people who share your values.

MAGA has exploited this, and now it’s our turn.

It is 100% carrying water for the opposition to participate in this collective delusion that Dems for some reason need to answer for every teen who throws a rock rather than hold the Trump admin accountable for intentionally creating chaos and breaking the law to stoke violence.

They are in charge.

Incredibly chaotic scene Los Angeles as LAPD is pushing forward a skirmish line and violently arresting anti-ICE protesters. You can also hear me grunt when police shoot me in the abdomen with some kind of projectile.

The pretend surprise that oligarchs aren’t fighting an oligarch president is only topped by the genuinely deranged assertion that “business leaders used to stand up to power.”

Just absolutely crazy stuff right here — completely beyond parody

And that the organization mainly exists to taunt victimized families and communities after mass shootings?

Medicaid runs with about a 3% overhead.

Private insurance runs at 17% overhead.

You want to save a few trillion the next 10 years, move to a single payer system.

It signal handlely almost pays off the US debt yearly interest rate by itself.

According to AP, the typical pay package for S&P 500 CEOs rose to $17M last year — an increase of 9.7%.

At half of the companies surveyed, it would take the median worker 192 years to make what the CEO did in one year.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.
