Sometime late in the Bush administration we as a country stopped illuminating rooms with a floodlight placed directly behind a slowly rotating industrial fan and our nation has been floundering ever since.

Maybe I just haven't been paying enough attention but it feels like western distributors have been may more willing to let licenses lapses in recent years than was previously the case and its frustrating

Possibly unpopular opinion but I think tenure should be revokable when you express bigotry toward the immutable characteristics of part of your student body. Such as saying women are naturally not as good at science and engineering. How many young women students has he harmed since saying that?
2/2 Summers did some disgusting predatory stuff. It's genuinely not clear to me whether it would legitimately be grounds for tenure revocation. But I would hope that folks at Harvard are looking into it.
