On a personal note.
I knew Rob Reiner & his lovely wife Michelle. One of my happiest memories was chatting with them in their kitchen, making sandwiches talking politics, and movies.
They were kind people. Extraordinarily normal and very, very kind.
I love & miss them already.
Life is short.

I extend my full sympathy to the Brown shooting victims. I also hope they're grateful they were shot in America, where our gunshot trauma surgeons are seasoned experts, and not socialist Europe, where they'd barely know what to do.

As a young kid whose parents didn’t care what I watched, I loved All in the Family. And I didn’t see Rob Reiner’s Michael Stivic as Archie Bunker did, as “Meathead.” I was inspired by Michael’s passion and activism. I wanted to be like him because it pissed off the Archie Bunkers.
