One thing you must understand about this "Trump threatening to move the World Cup from host cities" story is that this is not an idea he's originating. In both cases, a media member asks a leading question (Will you move these games?), and he answers it in the way that gets him more attention.

I cannot express how unfathomably funny it is to me that just when USMNT Twitter thought they were safe, Roldan has probably played his way to another World Cup

If MLS doesn't actually want a human to write an article, why would a human want to read it?

This sucks so hard.

I herby restart my campaign for my modest proposal to reduce the size of the penalty area to 30m wide. It might be more palatable to fans than Ted's arc from this pod.

The Leagues Cup Organizing Committee is still reviewing the melee after Inter Miami's loss to Seattle— including Luis Suarez spitting on a Sounders staffer.

That committee oversees only the Leagues Cup.

Will MLS add punishment on top? There is precedent

In the past, MLS has issued additional suspensions from other comps:

- RSL head coach Mike Petke received extra 3-game suspension in MLS for Leagues Cup outburst at a referee
- Clint Dempsey given extra 3-game MLS suspension for ripping up referee's notebook in US Open Cup game

I'm sorry but the footage of everyone brawling at Leagues Cup is hilarious, this tournament is basically just a league PowerPoint deck full of words like "synergy" and "brand equity" and people are like hell yeah I'm ready to go to jail for that

Even though Luis Suarez's disgusting behavior came in the Leagues Cup final (& will thus result in a hefty suspension in that competition) there is precedent to suspend him from regular season play. MLS suspended Clint Dempsey for 3 games following his ejection in a US Open Cup match in 2015. (1/2)

Out of shot, Suarez uses his studs to stand on Ramirez's foot so he can't get out of the way. Suarez could (should) be banned for most of the rest of the season on the back of this, so a spitting incident could mark the end of his playing career.
Inter Miami's Luis Suarez spits in the face of Seattle Sounders staff member Gene Ramirez following a melee at the end of the Leagues Cup final, in which the Sounders defeated Miami 3-0.
Inter Miami is disgusting. Luis Suarez is disgusting. Spitting on a Sounders coach. #LeaguesCup #MLS

Clear to see from day one, multi-club ownership is a stain. Ban it.
Strasbourg fans have protested against BlueCo ownership in the past. This confirms that BlueCo sees them as a Chelsea b-team and isn't even hiding it.
