I'm cautious about overgenerous application of the label doomer. It applies when one is intentionally demoralizing and miscontextualizing. I'm not slapping that label on people that are factually pointing out the limitations and risks of our situation.

If you are receiving a tax return this year, file your taxes early if you can.
If you owe on taxes, get the longest extension you can without penalizing yourself.
Starve them off money. Do the same for your state unless it's standing up to fascism.
