Reuters reached out to everyone that Trump or his subordinates singled out publicly for retribution, and reviewed hundreds of official orders, directives and public records. The result: the most comprehensive accounting yet of his campaign of payback.

Send the National Guard home. Stop bombing civilians. Quit breaking up families in America while giving sweetheart deals to sex traffickers and Apartheid deadenders. Stop ripping us off and selling out our allies just so you and your kids can get richer. For a start.

Fuck that noise, do it even if you're old. I learned tattooing at 43. I learned editing and publishing at 46.

There is always still time to do or learn new stuff.
I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

Very fair! I like it with BBQ, too, and MAYBE cold ham, but an all-warm meal just feels wrong for it lol.

That's pretty reasonable in my book. I'm incredibly picky about potato salad, so as a general rule of thumb I usually just avoid it in most settings.

I don't know how controversial this is but my family has to have potato salad at every single holiday and I just disagree with that.
5. What’s a controversial food take that you’d stand ten toes down and defend at all costs?
November 27, 2025 at 10:51 PM
I always feel a little bad for the person that brought that one dish that literally NOBODY touches. In many cases they should have known better, but still.
November 27, 2025 at 10:49 PM
I'd never say "awful." I'd probably make suggestions. You do want to discourage ppl from bringing that same nasty dish every year.
4. Are you more of a “lie to protect their feelings” or a “tell them that it’s awful so they don’t make it again” kind of person?
November 27, 2025 at 10:46 PM
Take a small portion but not small enough to be suspicious, then taste it where the person who made it can't see? My face won't let my hide when I eat something nasty, I fear.
3. How do you avoid dishes that you already know won’t be good without being offensive?
November 27, 2025 at 10:44 PM
Sweet potatoes as a side dish. In the pie is enough.
2. What’s the most overrated Thanksgiving food and why?
November 27, 2025 at 10:41 PM
Mac n cheese
1. What is the Thanksgiving side dish that really has main character energy?
November 27, 2025 at 10:41 PM
One of my aunts brought her fiance and his friend who were both Nigerian. The friend decided to try chiltlins for the first time while everybody watched and the look on his face as he ate them was priceless (he hated them).
6. What’s your funniest Thanksgiving memory?
