Sometimes I wonder if the real reason many European politicians fear a Russian defeat is that the Kremlin archives might become accessible then. That in turn could lead to the politicians being exposed as corrupt traitors.

I think the fact it was supposed to be advisory is particularly significant as people possibly didn’t vote, seeing it as less important to do so because it was only advisory. I have never heard a leave voter provide a coherent argument for their decision and most now regret it.
