If Ukraine falls, Georgia falls, then all the other Russian satelites, then the smaller countries of Eastern Europe. Putin has been fighting a hybrid war against the west for over 10 years, buying politicians in governments and oppositions, sowing division, using our own prejudices to divide us.

A public inquiry on the management of Brexit would set the record straight, and maybe the BBC could run an impartial series for the 10th anniversary of the vote, making it easier for the government to show the courage and leadership to take us back into the EU.

If you earned £40 per second, 24/7, every minute of every day of the year, it would take you approximately ...

7 hours to earn a million.
9.5 months to earn a billion.
792 years to earn a trillion.

That's how rich oligarchs are compared to the rest of us. Yet they tell us they can't pay more tax.

Musk has a fortune of $475 billion (heading towards $1 trillion). Yet he says here that he's only paid $10 billion in taxes. $10 billion may sound like a lot, but it's only around 2% of his fortune.

Ironically, this could have been a moment of renaissance for the One Nation Tories in the Conservative Party, a time for the party to rid itself of the rabid right and move towards the centre. But the Brexiters expelled all the moderates from the party, so there's no one left but the dregs.
