The only reason not to ban stock trading by Congress is that some want to use corruption. The argument that Members of Congress should be allowed to make money is absurd: All they need to do is put money in a blind trust; a competent money manager will make sure they make plenty of noncorrupt money.

The Court has been corrupted. Kavanaugh openly perjured himself during confirmation. Alito and Thomas act as if ethics laws don't apply to them. The Court needs to be corrected, BUT midterms first.
