The attorney general is threatening a state that the federal government will continuing murdering its citizens in the streets unless they provide access to state voter rolls, a lawless demand which is the subject of ongoing litigation.

Democrats can and must make it clear there will be trials and anyone even somewhat associated with ICE will face them. Maybe give a quit-your-job deadline on appeasement and give people 72 hours. I don't know. But currently the plan is to let them murder us in the street and get away with it.

1) They were beating a struggling man with batons
2) His jacket opened revealing a gun in his waistband or lower back
3) The agent in gray grabbed the gun and was walking away

He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.
At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.
Wael died on Friday at age 30.

The Democratic Party in Oregon needs a kick in the fucking ass. Obviously 1000% than the alternative, but…tons of room for improvement.
As someone who values agonistic, pluralistic democracy...this is not a good state of affairs. It's not good for the Democratic Party to have such an anemic and ineffectual rival for political power, and its definitely not good for the state of our democracy for the GOP to keep getting more extreme.

I've been thinking a lot lately about what the Trump administration is doing to the Republican party in states like MN and OR (the state I'm most familiar with). One thing I've noticed is that OR Republicans seem to be slowly reckoning with the fact that their brand has become toxic to voters.
If the admin's strategic goal was to break public resistance to immigration enforcement activities, it was a tactical mistake to go to the Twin Cities.
