StarCraft 2 is a mostly dogshit story that is told very, very well. It feels like they basically just wrote a World of Warcraft expansion and did outfit swaps.
StarCraft 2 is a great game but man the plot is beyond cheesy

I swear I've read about Gainax being officially dead at least once annually for the last 10 years, but in case this is truly finally it, I think back to the obituary I wrote for them in 2024. Truly, there was no studio like Gainax, and there never will be again.
