the truth is before gAI we've been using AI scripts to automate repetitive or inefficient tasks just fine for decades, gAI makes those same tasks absolutely impossible or dangerous to do. it basically rendered decades of technology unusable. and it kills the planet and ruins economies as it does it.

AI automation =/= AI generation. the scripts to automatically transcribe voice to text or whether your party character prioritizes Attack or Defense isn't the same as algorithms generating randomized results out of an amalgamation of existing data. conflating them is intentionally misleading.

I haven’t had time to draw for myself lately, but I had to doodle meeting my first Pokémon partner after the realistic Pokémon teams thing went around.

At least there's electric heat in the reptile room. I might end up moving in there for a while to chill with the snakes and geckos, they seem cozy right now.

Took my Dad and my niece to the movies on the weekend as a birthday gift. For three of us, the tickets alone were nearly $80 -- no 3D, and with child and senior pricing. Then there was popcorn.
Never mind that we had to wait weeks just for a single children's movie to even BE in theatres? Weird.
