The thing I like about this game’s NPCs compared to previous games is the diversity of Pokemon. In SwSh or SV you’d have the same handful of Pokemon, mostly unevolved, with some rare ones thrown in. In ZA, it’s like the whole dex is out.

Oh dang the pokemon, hamtaro, and sailor moon toys all take me back to my own childhood, what nice things to see again! It's tough when like, you don't want to throw it out, but selling is a hassle... especially things you know others could find joy in.

man the core loop of ZA is really addictive. sidequest and wild zones during the day, grind royale rank points and scoop up any night-only pokemon at night, repeat when the clock rolls over

At least based off my own timeline, it’s really nice to see that people are just enjoying the new Pokémon. It has issues but it’s not getting them down. It feels like the first time in ages a game’s not had the total love it or hate it treatment. If only this could continue.
