When I tell you I read all of "The Woods All Black" by @leemandelo.bsky.social in one day, understand what a high mark that is in this book's favour. A folk horror revenge tale set in an isolated Kentucky holler in 1929, it gives full throat to the beauty and power of trans rage.

finally got all my posts deleted today, took everything out of the bio, removed links, profile pic, and name too, just to be safe. then I permanently deleted the account. I guess it sits in limbo for 30 days where you could log back in and recover things, but it’s gone.
i say this as someone with at least a mild background in cybersecurity — tiktok is now trump/fedgov spyware. you need to delete your account and app ASAP. just because the app isn‘t open doesn’t mean they won’t be harvesting your personal data to target you. queer folx get the fuck off that app

listen, I KNOW the deep primordial ache that is the divinely-human desire to create Something from Nothing. I also know the rotten, festering, instant-gratification-disease technology has inflicted upon us. I know these things combined make the use of AI tempting… but—
If you use AI to create your art, your story, your whatever, I immediately know you don’t care about making things — you only care about selling them.
