many of these places are not affording a website in any case. restaurants usually have SOME kind of local review hub but other types of businesses do not

realised recently that even when i'm not looking at a screen, i tend to experience the world only through what is online. i scour the internet for the highest reviews and the most effusive praise, and travel directly from point to curated point

i tried using a standing desk when i used to code all day and weirdly i could never work on tricky tasks while standing, only rote ones. not sure why
