Morale at paypros call centers is in the toilet right now. It’s not just normal Black Friday stress, they’re being pounded. Corporate is pressuring bosses to end the paypros call campaigns. Source familiar w/ internals at MC stressed that folks should stand their ground but be kind to agents (1)

I’m glad we are getting responses to what Tim said like this, seen a small number of devs who agree with him but not cos they like ai but cos they just sound like they given up and taking the easy path of going with the classic “it’s inevitable”. People do not like crap and GenAi makes only crap.

Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.

I'm currently moving apartment units (same building, one floor up, long story involving ant infestations that won't quit and every direct neighbor smoking openly in their units and balconies) so it's been a bit chaotic for me between bocchama's scare and family matters, but things should settle soon
