this year has been a lot of making more time for personal art, whether comic or illustration based, and its been such a lovely time.

Many months ago, Ram hit me up to ask if I'd consider unretiring for one last thing.
I asked him what he had in mind.
He'd decided not to renew at DC, and said he wanted to step away from superheroes, as well as just monthly DM comics.
I thought it over.

god im so glad i switched to linux. its been so much nicer (and faster!) than windows or mac os ever was for me.
and now my cintiq and printer work flawlessly without use of proprietary drivers!

reading a comic and seeing the background be very obviously a photo with a monochromatic clip studio filter and automated screen tone just sucks the life out the comic for me.
