i never buy microsoft products, and im determined to make my current ipad pro the last apple product i ever buy.

If i can make the switch to traditional art for work over the next few years, i think i will be set.

god im so glad i switched to linux. its been so much nicer (and faster!) than windows or mac os ever was for me.

and now my cintiq and printer work flawlessly without use of proprietary drivers!

drawing digitally is really helpful for speed, mistakes, and deadlines, but i feel like that unpredictable tactile experience of drawing on paper is damn near spiritual

its a really effective way to work! I did that for my covers at DC/IDW and it saved so much time, but man i'd just have such a great time doing it all on the paper if it wasn't for the damn time restrictions

ooh, now that's fascinating! I've tried a couple different digital/traditional hybrid methods before on covers to decent success, but man the feeling of doing it all on paper and not having to stare at a screen for so long is SO nice!

its so much more satisfying for me to use traditional tools, and i just prefer the inconsistency and organic nature of traditional art. it adds so much life to pictures
